Saturday School to Surfing

This past weekend was really crazy.  I had so many plans taking up the entire weekend.  Saturday morning, I woke up around 8:00 and got dressed.  Preston Jackson, and Ben, had stayed at my house the past night, studying for the AP World History Final the next morning.  The past night we had read 300 pages of an AP World History Exam Review Book that took forever, but ended up really helpful for the test.  Anyways, we got up at 8, cooked some breakfast and drove to the high school.

We got to the school, with some rainy weather outside.  We were pretty bummed to be at school on a Saturday but the test was not optional.  We showed up and picked one of the rooms available for taking the test.  After a couple hours of multiple choice, and essays we we finally done.  Eli, Preston, and I dropped by McDonald’s on the way to go surf down south.  Rincon was firing and I couldn’t wait to try out the new board I cut on some real surf.  I completely forgot to tale any pictures at Rincon but we surfed again later so it was ok.

After awhile, we decided to go surf Sandbar.  When we got there, we could tell that there were waves and only a few people out as we looked down the breakwater.

I had to put my wetsuit on again, which was horrible being that it was already wet and sandy from the other session.  The waves were super fun and there was barely anyone out.  We Preston, and Eli could just wait for the best waves to come through.

After a good couple hours, it got pretty cold and the tide rose.  On high tide, Sandbar barely breaks and is super hard to surf.  We called it a day and went to get some food at Super Cuca’s.  The rest of the night I just did some bio homework.

The next morning I got up and went to school, AGAIN. This time was for AP Biology to study for the AP Exam coming up on Monday.  After 2 hours of work, Preston, Chase, and Jackson all came over to do some last minute studying for the exam.  As you can see in the picture below, Preston was not having fun.

Chase, clearly felt the same way as Preston about studying, in the picture below.

Comment below how many times you usually go to school on the weekend….
